Kinesis MVT
The Kinesis Movement™ Method focuses on restoring functional activation patterns to the bodies five (5) kinetic chains (slings) through a Methodical exercise rehabilitation plan.
Anatomically, the body’s kinetic chain *(Sling) is described as the interrelated group of body segments, connecting joints and muscles working together to perform movements to the portion of the spine to which they connect.
The Kinesis Movement™ Method has been developed by Exercise Physiologist, Damian Pavlinovich, over the last 30 year, He developed this following a lower back injury in the mid-90s when in his late 20’s.
The Kinesis Movement™ Method has been tried and tested for over five years with outstanding PAIN FREE outcomes within 12 weeks for participants.
Like many others at the time, Damian was prescribed and treated for his lower back disc bulge injury with “core” exercises. Exercises that focussed on the bracing of the abdominal muscles. Unfortunately, this treatment never produced the pain free results expected. Through education, self-experimentation and 20 + years of experience, the Kinesis Movement™ Method was born.
Kinesis Movement™ Method restores function and activation to the bodies five kinetic chains/slings with a tried and tested exercise rehabilitation plan that takes 6-12 weeks to complete with 1-2 sessions per week. Patients are provided with weekly “homework” to complete at home that consists of 2-4 exercises which then progress the patient though to whole-body movements.
