Exercise Physiology services can be undertaken at your home or at our 24/7 gym in Como.
My Aged Care (“MAC”) Packages are comprised of 3 x different Packages that can provide Exercise Physiology Services to help Seniors maintain their health, well-being, and independence.
These Packages are:
- Home Care Package (HCP)
- Short term restorative care (STRC)
- Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
These 3 x Packages usually include a therapy component which can be used to undertake an exercise therapy program with an Exercise Physiologist at your home or at our 24/7 gym in Como.
The MAC system can be quite difficult to navigate for all users. Unfortunately, Exercise Physiology services through these My Aged Care Packages is terribly advertised. We suggest that you discuss your options with your Care Organisation/Provider to ensure you fully understand what’s available to you.
Depending on the specifics of your My Aged Care Package you can receive services, either at home or at our 24/7 gym in Como, by following these simple steps.
| Step 1 | Contact your care organization/provider to ensure your My Aged Care Package includes therapy funding. |
| Step 2 | Call Como Fitness on 9450 8888 to discuss your needs and make an appointment with our Exercise Physiologist. |
| Step 3 | Como Fitness and your Care Organization/Provider will then set up a service agreement. |
| Step 4 | Attend your initial appointment to commence your Exercise Physiology. And start creating a better you with a better quality of life and continued independence. |
