ONERO™ is an award winning, evidence-based exercise program for people ddiagnosed with Osteoporosis, Osteopenia and/or Low Bone Density.

The ONERO program is based on the outcomes of the LIFTMOR and MEDEX-OP trials, published in the attached peer-reviewed publications. Whether you’re a beginner or regular gym user, ONERO™ provides the best exercise protocol for improving your bone density, balance and strength.

Participant Information Manual

A Participants Information Manual has been developed and is now available. With such a new program we have been “caught on the hop” a bit regarding the implementation and delivering of the ONERO™ program. We apologise for any confusion and frustration this may have caused participants. It’s been a steep learning curve for us!

Class Description

 Onero™ classes are delivered according to the guidelines provided by The Bone Clinic.

Where possible we ideally have a maximum of 8 participants in each class. It is recommended to attend a minimum of two (2) classes per week.

Classes are conducted in an open 24/7 gym where the gym is shared with other gym users. Please be courteous and respectful of other gym users.

All classes are 45 minutes in duration with the instructor conducting a brief warm up at the beginning of each class.

Gym Access pre/post class – Due to our insurance cover, participants only have access to the gym for a maximum of 10 minutes prior to class commencement time.  Please do not be offended if you arrive early and entry is refused.

If you would like additional access participants require a gym membership for this. Please enquire about a gym membership with our Admin Team.

Onero™ recommends that the exercise protocol is high intensity strength training. 

However, when commencing the Onero™ classes this is usually not possible, as such a Beginner class is scheduled which is HIGHLY recommended as a starting point for new participants.

In this class the instructor modifies the exercise protocol for participants to ensure safety and correct technique and to suit your mobility, flexibility and ability.

Class Format

Commencing in October 2025, a new improved Class Format has been implemented to ensure all classes are being delivered to high standard and all Instructors are delivering the same ONERO™ prescribed exercises.

Online Booking System

From Sunday 19 October the Online Booking System will be ACTIVE!

All class booking will be required to be made online.

Existing bookings will not carry over to the new system.

 

Step 1 – Register

 

Register for an account login.  Head to https://myaccount.clubfit.net.au/login

Make sure to enter the following information.

Club Name is: Como Fitness 24/7

Select Gym : Como 

You will need to use the same email for login as you have supplied to us to create your account. They must match. Next create your own password. Please note you can only register and book classes if you have a current (Active )Onero pack.

 

Step 2 – Download the App and Activate Your Online Booking System.

Late cancellations or no-shows will result in you being charged for the class.

Our Onero™ licence requires classes to be a maximum of 8 people. This has proved challenging due to people just turning up without a booking or administration placing people in the incorrect class. It’s been a challenge all round!

From Sunday 19 October classes will be restricted to a maximum of 8 participants. If going to be away on holidays, ensure you cancel your bookings. Or you will forfeit these classes.

 Now follow the prompts to register. 

Then login. You will need to find your facility which is us… Como!

As soon as you are in, press on the calendar icon on the bottom of the screen (next to home icon) and this will take you to a page with the classes listed on each day they are available. starting from the Monday 6.15 am class, 20 October 2025. 

Shared Space

Please keep in mind that the ONERO™ classes are conducted in a shared 24/7 gym, please be courteous and polite to other gym members. Please share the space and share the equipment. We have had some complaints from members on these matters. Your instructor will keep you together in a group. Wandering around the gym and loitering on other equipment is discouraged.

 

Claiming on Private Health Insurance

 

Check with your insurer that you have Exercise Physiology in your package.

 

Starter Pack.

Once you have booked your Assessment and 2 x Consultations as part of your Starter Pack a Tax Invoice will be issued to you for you to claim from your Private Health Insurance.

All appointments are required to be completed prior to you being able to make your claim.

 

Class Packs

Private Health Insurer only allow for claims for class packs to be made after all classes have been used.

To obtain your Tax Invoice for both the Starter Pack and Class Pack, please send you request outlining what you require tour Admin Team at
